Robert Treat Academy and the Harriet Tubman school were honored on the
floor of the state Senate Monday with a resolution that recognized each
for being named No-Child Left Behind-Blue Ribbon schools by the U.S.
Department of Education. Robert Treat, a K-8 charter school in
Newark's North Ward, was named a Blue Ribbon school in 2008.
